Garden in mid-July.

Purple penstemons, white hebe and pink shrubby salvia

I wasn't particularly keen on the yellow garden loosestrife as it tends to take over the flowerbed, but I've discovered it has one great virtue - rabbits don't like it. I've seen quite a few rabbits lately, tiny little ones. Oh dear.
The buddleia on the left has grown wildly this year along with everything else. Smells wonderful.

The Chinese plumbago doesn't look so exciting in a photo but its a pretty little shrub with red leaves and blue flowers. Another one that flowers late into the year.

Thanks, Juliet. Have now corrected my typos. Must remember not to blog in a rush.
