Impressive! Only the pub and the shop seem to have bothered here.
Driving early this morning I saw that one of the roads in town is to be closed today; at least someone's planning a party!

You live in a very beautiful village, Susie. Jealous.

That looks so lovely, bit like the villages in Midsummer Murders. Hope it only looks like it. Quite a lot have put out flags round here as well.xx

Thanks for comments, yes, village is lovely tho we don't live in olde centre. That part hasn't changed much for centuries, except school now private house. Lots of young families now, so that's good.

What a lovely village. No bunting in our street, sadly. And I love the scarecrows!

Oooh, very impressed, both with the scarecrows village and the more traditional decorations. And the summery photos made me think of Midsummer Murders - hope you're spared that sort of drama!

Hey, you had sunshine too! The bunting looks very festive.

We were in the UK for a family wedding over the Jubilee Weekend and were so surprised to see just how patriotic everyone was being, it warmed our hearts.
