Christmas door

Here is the wreath of leaves from my garden that I made to out-Kirstie Kirstie (shd explain to any foreign readers that she is a tv home-making goddess who one can't really ever compete with). Happy Christmas to all.

It's beautiful, Susie. Wish I could have one just like yours and it blows Kirstie's out the water!

That's way better than Ms Allsopp's.
Happy Christmas.

And across the pond, outdid Martha Stewart as well, Susie. this is exactly what Christmas decorations should look like.

I love it. I had no idea that Kirstie Allsop was now an expert on telling you how to run your lives in the UK!

Have a lovely Christmas and New Year, I look forward to continuing to follow you in 2010 and hopefully get to read 'Tropical Connections' sometime when I can get hold of a copy.

Didn't you do well. I did watch a snippet of that show but there is something about her that makes me want to retch. She is getting almost as bad as Anthea.

Is that the Kirstie whi used to present a house finding programme?
I've not seen her home-making efforts but I'm more than willing to believe that yours is far better. It looks terrific!

Thanks for kind words. Have to admit it is pretty easy to make a wreath if you buy a plastic circle base with oasis from your local garden centre or wherever (quite expensive but you can reuse it fpr a few years). This year I didn't add any fake holly berries because the red mahonia leaves seemed to cheer it up on their own.
As for Kirstie, I don't think I need to know to blow my own glassware. Yes, Sandy, she is the housebuying lady but now she also presents craft progs explaining how to "home-make" our homes or our Christmas. I find her quite amusing in a scary sort of way. Have no desire to emulate what she does though.
