Royal brides

Just a quick post to give a link to European royal brides past and present    I haven't heard of half of the princesses, but the dresses are smashing. Bridegrooms vary.

Nice link! On holidays in France, we used to giggle at the magazines full of stories about obscure European royalties. Then came Hello!.

Thanks for the link. Some of those dresses were so beautiful, it's frightening to imagine the cost of actually making them.

I liked that link but I thought including the Parker Bowleseseses was stretching it a little.

However, I did learn that the Greek royal family are in exile and why they're Prince & Princesses of Greece & Denmark afterwards so it was edumacational.

Thanks for visiting my Hello moment, CMM, Debs and Ms Mac. Yes, it was oddly informative. I was fascinated by Lady Davina who married a Maori, alleged surfer/builder, and went to live in NZ.

Wonderful dresses with the exception, I think, of Diana, Princess of Wales who set the gold standard in the meringue look! My all-time favourite royal wedding gown was that worn by Princess Margaret which was to me utter perfection, complemented by her classic hairstyle (swept up and off the face) topped by a magnificient diadem.
