Paris Imperfect paperback now out

The paperback of Paris Imperfect is now available on Amazon and at the Book Depository, so that's exciting - see links to the right. It's a trade paperback so slightly larger than the normal kind. There won't be a small-size one.
And I've also discovered that the paperback of Tropical Connections will appear at the end of March 2010.
Lovely weather here today, wonderful end to the summer. Have been admiring Michaelmas daisies and my new dahlia has already flowered. Photos to follow. (I never thought I'd be enthusing about dahlias - how things change.)

Is there any chance it will ever have a Kindle edition?

I don't know. Interesting question. Nobody has ever asked me that before. I know you can download the audio version of An Old-Fashioned Arrangement via Audible , but none of my novels are in e-book format. Must study my contracts!

I feel a need to start ordering more books now. Husband won't be pleased. Nevermind.

Susie, just wanted to ask if you get any input into the cover design?
I like the bigger paperbacks, not sure why! Maybe it's like having a hardback without the bulk.

No, we don't get much input into the cover design. Originally Transita asked me if I wanted my name small or big. Naively I said small because the cover of Pond Lane and Paris was attractive and I thought a huge name would cover too much of it. When they spelt my name wrong on the spine of the draft cover of AnOFA, I said so, and that I didn't much like the font, but the font stayed! In regard to Severn House, I love their covers so have no criticism. As for large print and audio publishers, you get no say at all usually.

Sounds like a good read On my shopping list for this weeks visit to the book store.

Thanks for kind comments and encouragement, Carole, Dedene, CW, MOB and Mo.
Mo, It's easier to buy my books on line or borrow from the library - (course I'd rather you bought them but I know the latest ones are relatively expensive - not more than a couple of lipsticks, though.)

Forgot to say thanks to Debs too!

I love the cover. The colours, the fonts, everything.

I shall put it on my 'to be bought list right away'.

That's so encouraging, Lane.
